Diana is an Italian singer of jazz and contemporary music. Her background is in Jazz, Medieval Music and Italian Belcanto. The exploration of an intimate and intense sound, combined with the improvisation experienced as "expressive possibilities" outside from the stylistic connotations, are the result of the continuous vocal and musical research that she pursues.
She graduated in Jazz Music, both Bachelor and Master, at the Conservatory of Music in Frosinone (Italy). She has also a Master’s degree in Psychology.
Her extensive experience in performing includes gigs, recordings and concerts through Europe (Italy, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Turkey and Czech Republic). She collaborated with outstanding composers such as M°Ennio Morricone and M°Luca Francesconi. She also performed in several international festivals of jazz and ancient music including Leeds Lieder Festival (UK), Festival de la Musique in Nantes (France), International Festival Music in Prague (Czech Republic), Acuto Jazz Festival (Italy).
Diana is also a highly trained teacher of singing and music, with many years of experience. She strongly believes in the value of music in education and she teaches to students of all ages and levels. She combines her musical knowledge with her experience as a professional, in order to help and encourage her learners to realise their creative potential and to free their own voice in a natural way.
She moved to London in 2015, where she currently teaches singing at Havering Music School and where she is also a kindergarten assistant at The North London Conservatoire. She is also singing teacher and vocal coach at the Adult Education Service in Coventry.
